Chumoukedima [Nagaland], June 26 (HornbillTV): Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Narendra Singh Tomar who is in Nagaland for 2 days inspected the Central Institute of Horticulture at Medziphema. The minister inaugurated the farmers’ exhibition-cum-workshop at the institute’s campus.
After the workshop, Tomar is also scheduled to visit Indian Council of Agriculture Research-National Research Centre on Mithun and the pineapple farm at Molvom village in the evening. The union minister is on two-day visit to Nagaland.
On June 27, Tomar will vist the Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency, Nagaland, Honey and Bee Keeping Mission at 6th Mile, Chumoukedima where he will inaugurate the honey laboratory. Union minister will also visit the Organic AC Market at Agri Expo and attend an official programme at Angh House.
