Kohima [Nagaland], June 12 (HornbillTV): In an event organized by Naga Kops and Chelsea Fans Nagaland to bring together the ever-growing fan base of the two English Premier League clubs in Nagaland, and allow the supporters to celebrate the game and the club they love and provide a way of meeting fellow fans, a friendly match was played between the two fan clubs at the IG Stadium, Kohima where Naga Kops defeated Chelsea Fans Nagaland 6-1.

Akika, Akhrie and Kevisanyü Peseyie each scored a brace for Naga Kops while Sunep Imchen scored a consolation goal for Chelsea Fans Nagaland.

The post-match gathering saw members and executives of both the Fan clubs expressing delight and happiness over the huge turnout of members at the event, with fans even coming up all the way from Zubza, Dimapur and Kohima contributing greatly to the success of the event.

Rovikotuo Yhoshu, Convenor of CFN said that the friendly match was just the start of many more other events that has been planned out for the future.

There are many official Premier League Fan Clubs in the state, and in this regard, the Official Liverpool Supporters Club and Chelsea Fans Nagaland were formed primarily to bring together all their supporters under one roof and organise regular match screenings of their respective clubs. These Fan Clubs are formed purely out of passion and not over monetary profit.
