Updates on June 19, Saturday, that a total of 1050 individuals were registered to receive the benefits. The distribution of Covid-19 relief package started on June 18 at the Tiyi Town Hall Wokha, and will continue till the 21st of June.  



The relief package was distributed also to daily wage earners, members of the business community, taxi and auto-rickshaw drivers and widows affected by the pandemic. The beneficiaries were identified by their respective union/unit presidents, updates stated.    
Likewise, food including rice, vegetables, and other essential commodities were distributed to daily wage earners and to the needy on June 19, Saturday, in Zunheboto district which was done under the initiative of the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Zunheboto Moa Longkumer said that the relief package was being issued to all the daily wage earners and the needy. Zunheboto district has identified 2000 beneficiaries out of which 500 were from Zunheboto Sadar and the rest 1500 are from different sub-divisions and villages. He said that starting from today, 500 relief packets have been distributed and those which has not been able to be completed on Saturday will be followed up on Monday and Tuesday, updates stated.
