Dimapur [Nagaland], June 11 (HornbillTV): Celebrating the 75th year of India's Independence and its capital markets, a conference on creating wealth through markets, which was held through video conferencing, was inaugurated today by Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, Nirmala Sitharaman, at the JN Tata Auditorium, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. 

The conference is organized by the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management, Ministry of Finance.

Joining 75 cities covering all states and Union Territories, state Nagaland also participated in an event conducted in the Capital Convention Centre of Kohima.

Speaking as the special guest, Chief Executive Officer for Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland Alemtemshi Jamir said money in itself is not a sin, but greed and a love for money create sin. It is high time that the Nagas should know how to use resources in the right way, the attendees were told.   

Topics on retail investment, wealth creation, savings, investment and wealth creation, exchange, and independent investors were delivered by resource persons.
