NEET aspirants can now download re-exam admit cards without prior bank verification: NTA
New Delhi [India], June 18 (HBTV): The National Testing Agency (NTA) has updated the download process for NEET (UG) 2026 re-exam admit cards, enabling candidates to access their hall tickets without first completing bank account verification.
The agency announced on Wednesday that candidates can now prioritise downloading their admit cards and complete the mandatory bank account verification required for the examination fee refund process at a later stage. Aspirants will remain fully eligible for the fee refund irrespective of when they complete the verification process.
In a post on X, NTA stated, 'If you were unable to download your admit card earlier because of pending bank details, you can now download your Admit Card immediately, complete bank account verification later, and still remain eligible for the examination fee refund process.'
The agency urged candidates to download their admit cards as soon as possible and carefully review details such as the examination centre, reporting time, and personal information ahead of the NEET-UG re-examination scheduled for June 21.
Students have also been advised to keep two printed copies of the admit card ready for examination day after verifying all information mentioned on the document.
NTA said, 'Download your admit card today and keep both the printed copies ready for exam day. Best wishes to all NEET 2026 aspirants.'
The re-examination follows the cancellation of the May 3 NEET-UG test after a paper leak. It will be conducted in a single shift from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM, with an additional 15 minutes allotted for administrative procedures.
The NEET-UG re-examination is expected to witness participation from a large number of candidates, making coordinated efforts among various departments crucial to ensuring the smooth and incident-free conduct of the examination. (ANI)
