Los Angeles [US], March 30 (HBTV): Britney Spears has returned to Instagram following her arrest earlier this month on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI).
The singer shared a video on Saturday in which she is seen dancing in front of a mirror with her 19-year-old son, Jayden.
Along with the clip, Spears posted a message thanking her fans for their support and highlighted the importance of spending time with loved ones. She wrote, 'Thank you guys for all your support... spending time with family and friends is such a blessing. Stay kind!!!'
In the video, she can be heard saying, 'I’m composed, I’m being very composed,' while posing and enjoying the moment. Her son Jayden is also seen participating and attempting a dance move.
She later shared another post with a similar clip, reiterating her message and once again urging people to ‘Stay kind.’
According to reports, Spears was arrested on March 4 in Ventura, California, and was released the following morning.
Her representative described the incident as ‘unfortunate’ and stated that she would comply with the law and take appropriate steps moving forward. The representative added that her family would be supporting her during this period.
‘This was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable,’ the representative said.
‘Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law, and hopefully this can be the first step in the long-overdue change that needs to occur in her life. She will seek the help and support needed during this difficult time.’
Spears shares two sons, Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19, with her former husband, Kevin Federline. (ANI)
