Los Angeles [US], January 7 (HBTV): Marvel Studios has unveiled a new teaser for its upcoming film Avengers: Doomsday, reigniting fan excitement with the return of the X-Men.
The makers on Tuesday released a one-minute clip teasing the message, ‘The X-Men will return in Avengers: Doomsday’. The teaser features popular X-Men characters Professor Charles Xavier, played by Patrick Stewart, Magneto, portrayed by Ian McKellen, and Cyclops, played by James Marsden.
The clip opens with a sombre exchange between Professor X and Magneto. ‘Death comes for us all. It’s all I know for sure. The question isn’t, are you prepared to die? The question is, who would you be when you close your eyes?’ Professor X says.

According to Variety, Stewart, McKellen and Marsden will be joined by Kelsey Grammer as Beast, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Channing Tatum as Gambit, and Rebecca Romijn as Mystique.
The X-Men are also set to cross paths with several Avengers characters, including Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Paul Rudd, Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, Sebastian Stan, Tom Hiddleston, Simu Liu, Letitia Wright, and Winston Duke.
Robert Downey Jr. is also returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, though this time as the lead antagonist Doctor Doom.
The ensemble cast further includes actors from the Fantastic Four franchise, such as Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, along with Thunderbolts stars Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, Hannah John-Kamen, and Lewis Pullman.
