Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], February 12 (HBTV): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has hailed the PRAGATI portal and technology-driven governance, highlighting the state’s infrastructure push with 330 projects worth INR 10.48 lakh crore currently underway.

Addressing a press conference in Lucknow on infrastructure projects being monitored through the PRAGATI portal, he underlined the state’s transition from a ‘bottleneck’ to a ‘facilitator’ and now an ‘accelerator’ of development.

‘Uttar Pradesh has now become a breakthrough state rather than a bottleneck. By using this kind of technology, when we have achieved platforms like PRAGATI, the state has moved beyond the facilitator and is now accelerating progress across these projects. A platform like PRAGATI has further strengthened Team India’s spirit. This is the Prime Minister’s vision. I would like to thank the Prime Minister for having this vision,’ he said.

‘Through the PRAGATI portal, all departments discuss among themselves and find solutions. It has resulted in rapid progress of projects related to highways, railways, power and telecom. This is also a model of good governance. Out of a total of 515 topics, 494 have been resolved through this portal. The target of 278 out of 287 projects has been met through this portal. This also shows the ability of high-level administrative and decision-making leadership,’ he said.

‘A platform like PRAGATI has made Team India’s spirit even more effective. This is the Prime Minister’s vision. I would like to thank the Prime Minister for having this vision,’ he added.
