Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], February 4 (HBTV): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that encroachments will not be tolerated and has directed authorities to act in this regard. He met petitioners from various districts during the ‘Janata Darshan’ programme and heard their grievances.
After receiving applications from the public, the Chief Minister directed officials to take immediate action and asserted that illegal encroachment would not be tolerated under any circumstances, according to an official release.
Yogi Adityanath said strict action against land mafia and strongmen is ongoing and will continue on a regular basis. He instructed officials to ensure prompt and satisfactory resolution of public grievances and assured citizens that the government remains committed to addressing their concerns.
The release said that several petitioners approached the Chief Minister with complaints related to land encroachment and assault. The Chief Minister personally met each petitioner, listened to their grievances, and received their applications.
He directed officials to expedite hearings and the resolution of district-level law and revenue-related cases, stressing that law and order is a priority for the government. ‘Any negligence in this matter will not be tolerated,’ he said.
The Chief Minister further instructed administrative and police officers at the district, division, range, and zone levels to continue taking the strictest possible action against land mafia and strongmen on a regular basis.
