Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], November 25 (HBTV): The AAFT University Convocation 2025 unfolded as a celebration of academic excellence, creative innovation and global vision, with H.E. Ramen Deka, Governor of Chhattisgarh, attending the event as the chief guest.

He was joined by Shri Tankaram Verma, Hon'ble Minister for Higher Education and Disaster Management, Government of Chhattisgarh; Padma Shri Anuj Sharma, Hon'ble MLA; and Shri Vijay K. Goyal, Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Private Universities Regulatory Commission.

Dr Prof Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University, expressed pride in the university’s growing international stature, saying that AAFT continues to redefine creative education with world-class training, an innovation-driven curriculum and a culture rooted in professionalism.

Delivering the Convocation Address, H.E. Ramen Deka praised the university for shaping a new generation of creative professionals. He highlighted the expanding global influence of cinema, media and creative arts, noting their role in cultural diplomacy and economic development. He said that institutions like AAFT University nurture visionaries who contribute not only to India but to creative industries worldwide.

Shri Tankaram Verma congratulated the university for emerging as a hub of skill development and global-ready talent, adding that its progressive learning ecosystem is setting new standards in higher education.

Padma Shri Anuj Sharma commended AAFT University’s focus on performing and visual arts, noting that such programmes help shape confident and culturally grounded leaders. Shri Vijay K. Goyal lauded the institution’s commitment to quality education, governance and global benchmarks, describing AAFT as an institution poised for international impact.

Dr Bharat Sah, Vice Chancellor, encouraged students to enter the professional world with passion, purpose and professionalism.

Presenting the Annual Report, Dr Prof Shikha Tyagi Verma, Director of AAFT University, highlighted the university's global collaborations, research achievements and expansion in creative domains. Registrar Shri Sudhir Ranjan delivered the Vote of Thanks.

The convocation celebrated the accomplishments of more than 600 graduates from Creative Arts, Media, Management, Design and Performing Arts. A total of 65 gold medallists were honoured for outstanding academic achievement.

The ceremony reaffirmed AAFT University’s commitment to nurturing global creative leaders prepared to inspire, innovate and influence the world.
