Gurugram (Haryana) [India], November 18 (HBTV): India Circus by Krsnaa Mehta, a Godrej Enterprises brand, has opened its largest retail store to date at IREO Mall in Gurugram, marking a significant milestone as the brand celebrates a decade in the design industry.
Spanning nearly 2,000 sq ft, the store reflects the brand’s evolution from a small collection of prints to an extensive range of home décor, dining, fashion, accessories and wallpapers. Designed as an immersive space, the new outlet provides customers with a tactile and visual experience of modern Indian design.
‘We are thrilled to expand our presence in North India,’ said Krsnaa Mehta, Founder and Executive Director. ‘Our early stores were created as touchpoints where people could engage with the brand and then shop online. But the demand we've seen has gone far beyond what we imagined. The Gurugram store, now our largest, is a celebration of that growth and a reflection of how far we've come in 10 years.’
The decision to expand in Gurugram was both strategic and creative, with the city serving as a major business and lifestyle hub known for its premium residences and hospitality sector. According to Mehta, the location aligns with the tastes of a discerning and design-aware consumer base.
‘After thorough research, we chose this location to expand our presence and welcome healthy competition,’ Mehta added. ‘It represents the evolving Indian consumer — discerning, design-literate and proud of their roots.’
As part of its expansion strategy, the brand will soon open another store at Silverglade Mall in Gurugram to meet the growing demand for contemporary Indian design.
India Circus describes its newest outlet as a curated design gallery. Drawing inspiration from Mughal motifs to modern urban themes, each collection blends cultural elements with functional, contemporary aesthetics. The store reflects the modern Indian home, where traditional and contemporary styles merge seamlessly.
‘Design should be democratic, not intimidating,’ said Mehta. ‘Whether it’s a cushion or a kaftan, our aim is to make good design part of everyday life.’
Founded a decade ago as a print-led design house, India Circus has since expanded into a global lifestyle brand with a presence across diverse markets through collaborations, e-commerce platforms and retail stores. The new flagship in Gurugram represents both a symbolic and strategic milestone for the brand.
The company said it remains committed to presenting Indian stories through colour, craft and culture as it steps into its next decade.
