Chumoukedima (Nagaland) [India], December 1 (HBTV): The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has set up a financial awareness stall at the Hornbill Festival, offering visitors an opportunity to learn about investment planning, digital safety, and investor protection.

Located at the VIP Parking Lot behind the church at the festival’s main venue in Kisama village, the stall aims to help people make informed financial decisions. Visitors are encouraged to bring their queries and receive guidance from experts present at the venue.

The stall provides advice on investments, financial planning, and digital safety, and also highlights SEBI’s initiatives for investor protection. These include awareness programmes, regulations to ensure fair market practices, mechanisms for investor grievance redressal, and measures related to digital safety and cyber security.

According to SEBI, the initiative is part of its ongoing efforts to promote financial literacy among investors. The organisation stated that by engaging with experts and accessing reliable information, individuals can strengthen their understanding of the financial markets and make decisions that support long-term financial security.
