Tel Aviv [Israel], February 2 (HBTV): The Israel Defense Forces on Sunday confirmed that it had killed Hezbollah leader Ali Dawood Amich, who headed a branch of the group’s engineering department, during an operation in southern Lebanon.

According to the IDF, Amich was attempting to restore Hezbollah’s military infrastructure in the al-Dweir region and was actively promoting terrorist plots against Israeli forces.

‘The terrorist’s actions constituted a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon,’ the IDF said. (ANI/TPS)
