Guwahati (Assam) [India], May 9 (HBTV): The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) on Thursday declared the results of the class-12 examination for 2024. A total of 2,73,908 students appeared in this year's examination. 2,42,794 students have graduated, AHSEC said.  

This year, 88.24 percent of students graduated in the Arts stream; 90.29 percent of students graduated in the Science stream; 88.28 percent of students graduated in the commerce stream; and 85.78 percent of students graduated in the Vocational stream.   

According to the AHSEC, a total of 2,73,908 students appeared in this year's examination and 2,42,794 students were successful.

Further, 1,77,434 students graduated in the Arts stream; 49,256 students graduated in the Science stream; 15,356 students graduated in the Commerce stream; and 748 students graduated in the Vocational stream.  

In the Arts stream, 41,133 students graduated by securing 60 percent or more marks; 25,437 students graduated with 60 percent or more marks in the Science stream; and 6,192 students graduated in the Commerce stream, and 163 students in the Vocational stream.
