BJP Ngaland urged the ENPO for magnanimity in patience and understanding as both parties navigate through any procedural complexities that may arise while trying to achieve a positive end-result.

Chumoukedima, March 14 (HBTV): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland state unit has appealed to the Eastern Nagaland People's Organization (ENPO) and stakeholders to prioritize constructive means of resolution within the framework of democratic dialogue.

Taking cognizance of the ongoing protests by the ENPO against the delay in response of the Centre on its Frontier Nagaland Territory (FNT) demand, the BJP State Unit urged the ENPO for magnanimity in patience and understanding as both parties navigate through any procedural complexities that may arise while trying to achieve a positive end-result.

The party said that the protests are fundamental right in a democratic society; however, it should not detract from constructive dialogues that are necessary for resolution. Therefore, it called upon all the stakeholders to engage in meaningful discussions, respecting procedural and technical considerations, to achieve a mutually beneficial outcome.

The BJP also stated that burning the effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and National BJP President JP Nadda is “unfortunate, unnecessary and serve no productive purpose, particularly at a time when sincere efforts are being made by the Central leaders to address the concerns of Eastern Nagaland.”

“The Government of India, under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, remains deeply committed to the development and welfare of Eastern Nagaland. Various initiatives and schemes such as PM Matru Vandana Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM Ujjwal a Yojana, PM Garib K al yan Anna Yojana, Free Covid-19 vaccination, PM Ayushman Bharat Health Card, PM Kisan Yojana, PM M udra Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, Khelo India, PM Vishwakarma etc and the establishment of the Medical College at Mon, amongst numerous other pro-people schemes to develop the socio-economic and infrastructure aspects of Eastern Nagaland, exemplify this commitment,” the statement said.

The party also said that financial allocation amounting to a whopping Rs. 180 crore under PM -DeviNE for Eastern Nagaland alone, demonstrate the earnest efforts of the Government of India under Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah and the BJP Party under National President JP Nadda  to uplift the region and its people.

The BJP is optimistic that the Government of India will address the concerns of Eastern Nagaland and achieve positive outcomes that are mutually agreeable and pragmatic.
