The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party’s parliamentary board has made a number of points of appreciation in regard to the direction the party is taking.

Chumoukedima, Nagaland, March 3 (HBTV): The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party’s parliamentary board has made a number of points of appreciation in regard to the direction the party is taking.     



A meeting of the NDPP was conducted on March 2, 2024 at the NDPP’s headquarters in Kohima, Nagaland. 



According to a press release from the party, the board congratulated the state government for new initiatives and achievements that Nagaland had made during the present tenure.        



The board appreciated the chief minister for what it termed was a visionary state budget that was recently passed in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly. The new initiatives and policy announcements of the budget is bound to have positive impact on the economy of the state and will especially be beneficial for the youth of Nagaland, the press release claimed.  



Further, the NDPP board expressed its appreciation to all the political parties and leaders including the Bharatiya Janata Party who are part of the opposition-less government and are extending support to the leadership of the chief minister and the government. 



Likewise, the meeting deliberated on the forthcoming elections to the Lok Sabha and the necessary preparations to be undertaken to face the elections. The board unanimously resolved to award the party’s ticket to former minister Dr. Chumben Murry for the elections to the lone parliamentary seat of Nagaland, the press release stated.
