Three operatives, including woman of Lawrence Bishnoi gang arrested by Punjab Police

Chandigarh (Punjab) [India], March 2 (HBTV): In a breakthrough, the Chandigarh Crime Branch in Punjab has apprehended three more operatives of the Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar Gang. 



The three have been identified as one Maya, a Amanpreet Singh, and one Parvinder Singh. 



Superintendent of Police Ketan Bansal said the key accused, a woman, who is a resident of Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan, has been nabbed. Along with her, two of her associates who provided the logistics have also been arrested. 



‘The accused woman identified as Maya is 28 years old and was in contact with gangster Rohit Godara for the past several days. They had a conversation on Instagram and after that they started staying in constant touch with him,’ the official said. 



"The woman has tattoos of the 'gun symbol' on parts of her body and is completely influenced by gangster culture. She was given the task of entering the courtroom wearing a lawyer's clothes and open fire," the police official said.



Along with the woman, the official said, two of her associates Amanpreet Singh, a resident of Muktsar Sahib; and Parvinder Singh, a resident of Fazilka had been arrested for providing logistics to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.



"They also brought them from the railway station and provided them rooms to stay at many places," said the official. 



Earlier this month, the Anti-Gangster Task Force of Punjab apprehended two operatives of the Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar Gang. 



The accused were identified as one Mandeep Singh and a Jatinder Singh. 



Punjab's AGTF arrested the individuals and also recovered two pistols and 12 live cartridges from their possession.
