Imphal, Manipur, March 10 (HBTV): A landslide in Noney district of Manipur on March 9 claimed the life of a minor student while two other minors, both boys, were injured. The deceased child has been identified as Rigungngang Phaomei.

The landslide happened in the evening at Sangrung (Khongsang) village near Sangrung Police Station in Noney district.        

Additionally, two other minor students sustained serious injuries. They were rushed to Nungba Hospital for medical treatment.    

The injured boys have been identified as 11-year-old Thaithuilung Kamei and seven-year-old Ringthuanlung Kamei.

The students were all residents of Sangrung (Khongsang) village.
