Fight over land dispute claims lives of two in Assam’s Cachar district

Silchar, March14 (HBTV):  Clash between two groups over land dispute on Thursday in Khelma village under Katigorah constituency of Cachar district in Assam claimed two lives and critically injured over 12 others.



The incident occurred at around 10 am on March 14, when two groups after a heated argument began a fight with machetes and batons, resulting in the death of two persons. The deceased have been identified as Dhirendra Vaisnav and Raju Vaishnav.



The injured person were first taken to Kalain Primary Health Centre and later on sent to Silchar Medical College and Hospital for treatment.
