Our Journey

HornbillTV was conceptualized in 2019 and launched in January 2021 by the Pure Entertainment Group, based in Nagaland. The promoters observed a gap in the media landscape — the absence of a platform that authentically represented the voices and stories of Nagaland.

Built with no hidden agenda, HornbillTV’s sole purpose is to give a voice to the people and proudly place Nagaland on the global satellite TV map. In a short span of time, HornbillTV has become a leading news source in the Northeast, both in terms of credibility and production excellence.
