Kohima, Nagaland, March 4 (HBTV): During the ongoing Nagaland Legislative Assembly session, MLA Nyamnyei Konyak raised several concerns.

Highlighting the need for better infrastructure, Konyak urged the government to prioritize road connectivity, particularly for the agriculture and allied sectors in rural areas. He stressed that improved roads would enhance productivity and economic growth in these sectors.

Addressing water scarcity under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), Konyak acknowledged that pipeline connections have been established but pointed out that the state continues to face shortages. He recommended constructing storage tanks to ensure water availability during the dry season.

Additionally, he called for a reassessment of teacher transfer policy and posting policies within the Education department. He has advocated for a more balanced and rationalized approach.
