Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], December 30 (HBTV): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai met Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in New Delhi to discuss strengthening railway connectivity in the state.

The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of ongoing railway projects and expediting the implementation of newly approved initiatives considered significant for citizens, industry and regional commerce. The Chief Minister emphasised the importance of timely execution of sanctioned projects so that people of Chhattisgarh, along with business and industrial stakeholders, can benefit from modern and efficient rail transport facilities.

Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw reaffirmed the Ministry of Railways’ commitment to enhancing rail connectivity across Chhattisgarh and supporting infrastructure development in the state.

Also present at the meeting were Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary Rahul Bhagat and Secretary of the Department of Commerce and Industry Rajat Kumar.

The discussions underscored the state government’s focus on improving transportation infrastructure to support economic growth, industrial expansion and improved mobility for citizens across Chhattisgarh. (ANI)
