Chandigarh [India], July 10 (HBTV): The Haryana government has directed all departments to appoint a nodal officer from the Group ‘A’ or Group ‘B’ category, as per policy guidelines, to implement the Model Online Transfer Policy, according to an official release.
These nodal officers have been instructed to attend a training session scheduled for 10:00 am tomorrow at the New Haryana Civil Secretariat, Sector 17, Chandigarh, to ensure smooth implementation of the new system.
Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi has issued directions to 22 Administrative Secretaries across 47 departments in this regard.
The appointed nodal officer—at the Joint Director level or above—will assist the concerned Administrative Secretary in executing the Model Online Transfer Policy. Additionally, departments have been directed to publish the list of cadres to be included or excluded from the online transfer framework.
The appointment and cadre listing process will be conducted via the HRMS Portal. The nodal master will select the MOTP option from the online transfer policy menu, download the list of eligible officers, select the appropriate officer, and upload the approved noting. The process will be completed through OTP verification. The selected officer should not be due for retirement before December 2026. The nodal officer's details can also be edited later in the portal.
The nodal officer will operate through three key phases on the HRMS platform. First, they will add the name of the cadre. Next, a decision will be made on whether the cadre is to be included in the policy. Finally, the list will be finalised by uploading the order approved by the competent authority.
Meanwhile, the Haryana government, led by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, has completed preparations to implement the Lado Lakshmi Scheme, under which INR 2,100 will be deposited monthly into the accounts of poor women.
According to a post on X by the Department of Information, Public Relations, Language and Culture (DIPR), ‘Chief Minister Nayab Saini said that the state government has made complete preparations to implement the Lado Lakshmi Scheme. Under this scheme, an amount of 2,100–2,100 rupees will be deposited into the accounts of women this year itself.’
