New Delhi [India], January 27 (HBTV): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has said the state would emerge as the growth engine of a Developed India by 2047, asserting that the Haryana Vision Document-2047 has been prepared through extensive consultations, in-depth study and expert participation.

Saini made the remarks while addressing a pre-budget workshop organised at the Gurugram University Auditorium in connection with the Haryana Vision-2047 roadmap. He said detailed discussions were held on various aspects during the pre-budget consultation meeting with stakeholders from the industry, health, information technology and education sectors ahead of the financial year 2026–27.

According to the Chief Minister, representatives from organisations associated with industry and manufacturing units shared suggestions for the upcoming budget. He said a visible developmental transformation has taken place over the past 11 years and that the government is moving towards holistic development alongside positive changes.

Saini said the government has constituted a Department of Future to address emerging global changes and that such workshops are being organised to impart long-term vision and strategic thinking. He added that departmental plans must be linked to a clear vision, with greater emphasis on outcomes rather than activities.

Highlighting the state government’s priorities, the Chief Minister said improving the lives of citizens remains central to governance. He said that through stakeholder consultations, the Haryana government aims to contribute to the goal of Developed India 2047 by focusing on six pillars.

He said the Haryana Vision Document-2047 is based on six strategic themes, including finance and security, education, skill development and employability, health and nutrition, agriculture, food security and environmental conservation, infrastructure development, and region-based development and local self-governance. He added that the budget for the financial year 2026–27 would be aligned with these themes.

During the pre-budget deliberations, senior officials made theme-based presentations, with in-depth discussions held on measures aimed at making Haryana developed, inclusive and self-reliant by 2047.
