New Delhi [India], August 20 (HBTV): Day two of the Subroto Cup International Football Tournament showcased both intense contests and record-breaking feats, from the 2-2 draw between Assam’s Betkuchi High School and Chhattisgarh’s Mata Rukhmani Kanya Ashram to Amenity Public School, Rudrapur (Uttarakhand) registering a 20-0 win over Air Force School, Kanpur.



The Assam–Chhattisgarh clash had spectators on edge, with early goals from Assam’s Samaina (2’) and Sayasree (21’) before Chhattisgarh’s Sushila struck twice (6’, 49’) to level the match.



Meanwhile, Amenity Public School delivered a record performance, with standout contributions from Kamal (5 goals), Sonam (6 goals), Anjali (3 goals) and Sonakshi (3 goals).



Other results from the day included:





  • Kerala’s Lal Bahadur Shastri Memorial Hr. Sec. School (Thrissur) defeating Vimla Vidyalaya (Palanpur, Gujarat) 3-0.




  • Sri Lanka School Football Association overcoming PM Shri Govt. Mahatma Gandhi Sr. Sec. School, Andrott (Lakshadweep) 3-1.




  • PM Shri KV Sr. School, Hazaribagh (Jharkhand) registering a 4-0 win over Delhi.




  • Upgraded High School, Bilaspur (Bihar) beating Vidya Devi Jindal School (Haryana) 5-0 with a hat-trick from Anshu.




  • PM Shri GGSSS Mangali Hisar (Haryana) defeating Nagaland 3-0 with Ruchi scoring a hat-trick.




  • Nongjri Presbyterian Secondary School (Meghalaya) and Govt. Model Sr. Sec. School (Chandigarh) both recording 5-0 victories.




  • St. Xavier Higher Secondary School, Mapusa (Goa) beating Arunachal Pradesh 2-0.





The day reinforced the Subroto Cup’s reputation as a platform for thrilling contests, remarkable achievements and the emergence of young football talent.
