Sribhumi, Assam, November 30 (HBTV): The Barak Valley Hawkers Association has called for a boycott of Bangladeshi goods following the reported atrocities against Hindu minorities in Bangladesh. On Saturday morning, members of the association burned Bangladeshi products in Badarpur as a show of protest.

The call for the boycott comes after the fall of the Sheikh Hasina government in Bangladesh, which has reportedly intensified the suffering of the Hindu minority community.

A Hindu activist, speaking to the media, confirmed the boycott of all Bangladeshi goods, with the protest taking place in front of Badarpur railway station. The association, along with other Hindu organizations, also demanded that the Indian government halt all imports and exports with Bangladesh until the rights of Hindu minorities are safeguarded.
