Dima Hasao, Assam, June 11 (HBTV): A head-on collision between a scooty and a Mahindra Bolero camper resulted in the death of a student on the spot on Tuesday in in Dima Hasao of Assam. The incident occurred at around 1:00 PM along Umrangso's Golf Course Road.     

The student has been identified as a Sanjay Sharma, aged approximately 15 years, and a resident of New Tunbung village of Umrangso. Per locals, both the scooty and the Bolero were moving above normal speed. Sharma was a class-x student and was studying at the Vivekananda Kendriya Vidyalaya in Umrangso. He was returning from school when the accident occurred just three kilometers from Umrangso Police Station.
