Santirbazar, Tripura, April 24 (HBTV): In a dramatic turn of events, a man from Birchandra Manu in Santirbazar arranged the marriage of his wife with her lover after discovering their affair.
The unusual incident, which took place on Wednesday at Santirbazar under South Tripura district, has sparked widespread discussions on social media and attracted significant media attention.
According to sources, Nayan Saha found out that his wife was involved in a romantic relationship with a young man from the same locality. Reportedly, the woman had accused her husband and mother-in-law of subjecting her to physical and mental abuse. Seeking 'peace’, she befriended the young man, and the friendship soon turned into a love affair.
When the affair became public, Nayan and his family organised a traditional wedding ceremony at a local temple.
The newlyweds told the media that their marriage was based on mutual love and consent.
