Chumoukidema [Dimapur], June 26 (HornbillTV): Nagaland Narcotic cell and Assam Police carried out a joint operation on June 25 and raided the Narco distributors godown located at Chumoukidema ward-1. 17 poppy straw bags weighing a total of 459 kilograms were ceased.

In connection to this case Saiful Islam, the godown tenant was apprehended and police have sealed the godown. Assam police on the night of June 24 informed Nagaland police regarding this case and together carried out a joint operation, busting their poppy straw storage at Chumoukidema ward-1. The case has been registred at Manja Police station, Dimapur PRO informed Hornbilltv.
