Imphal, Manipur, November 21 (HBTV): As part of protests erupting from different parts of Manipur, hundreds of people are participating in what they called "rally hunger strikes". The relay hunger strike being held at Uripok in Imphal West District continues with the participation of hundreds of women.

The protestors are demanding justice for the women and children killed in Jiribam district several days ago. Even though the case has been handed over to the National Investigation Agency, the hunger strikers say they have lost faith in the authorities.

The protestors are saying they will continue to hold the protests because the deteriorating law and order situation has left the people in the state without any options but to take to the streets.

Meanwhile, with the authorities relaxing curfew for a few hours in Imphal, people are flocking market places to buy essentials.

Suspension of internet services continues in the valley districts.
