Imphal, Manipur, March 11 (HBTV): Manipur Police have rescued two minor girls allegedly recruited for underground organizations from different locations in Kakching and Thoubal districts.



The rescue operation, carried out under Kakching Police Station and Thoubal Police Station respectively, also led to the capture of two active cadres of the Revolutionary People’s Ffront/People’s Liberation Army, identified as Moirangthem Romen Singh alias Phirepa (23) and Nongmaithem Mohendro Singh (54). These individuals were allegedly involved in recruiting minors into their organization.



The police seized a scooter and two mobile phones from their possession. The rescued girls were subsequently presented before the chairperson of the Child Welfare Committee at Thoubal for necessary procedures.
