Agartala, Tripura, April 30 (HBTV): The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has announced the 2025 results for the Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examinations on Wednesday, showing a positive trend in student performance across the state. This year, the Madhyamik pass percentage stood at 86.53%, while 79.29% of students passed the Higher Secondary exams.
Despite a decline in the number of Madhyamik examinees—29,670 students appeared this year compared to 33,739 last year—the performance remained strong. Among them were 13,861 boys and 15,809 girls. A notable 345 schools achieved a 100% pass rate in Madhyamik, and no school reported a zero pass rate, indicating improved academic support.
South Tripura led the Madhyamik results with a pass rate of 90.69%, followed by Gomati at 90.42% and Sepahijala at 89.93%. For the Higher Secondary exams, 21,506 students appeared, including 9,920 boys and 11,586 girls. Sepahijala district topped with 87.98%, while South Tripura and West Tripura followed with 82.47% and 82.20%, respectively. While 39 schools achieved a 100% pass rate, three schools recorded no successful candidates.
TBSE President Dr. Dhananjay Gan Chowdhury applauded the combined efforts of students, teachers, and school administrations for the encouraging results.
