Mawlein Mawkhan , Meghalaya, April 11 (HBTV): Unidentified assailants reportedly hurled stones at the residence of Magdalene S Mawlong, a member of the National People's Party (NPP) in the Khasi Hills District Autonomous District Council (KHADC), in Meghalaya, on Wednesday night.                

The attack took place in Mawlein Mawkhan (Sohkyndur) village, located in Ri Bhoi district.             

Reports said the incident happened at approximately 6:30 PM, when Mawlong and party workers were inside the residence. They managed to escape unharmed.                                 

Following the incident, a police complaint was filed, and personnel from the Umiam Police Station responded to the scene for initial inquiries.           

Updates said investigations by the police are on.
