Kokrajhar, Assam, September 25 (HBTV): An elderly woman was murdered on suspicion of practicing witchcraft on Tuesday, September 24 by a man at Gossaigaon subdivision in Kokrajhar district of Assam.   

The victim has been identified as 50-year-old Bagharo Hembram, a resident of Balimari village. 

After receiving the information about the incident, police rushed to the spot and have started investigation. According to villagers, accused Ganesh Hembrahama belongs to the same village. Sources said, earlier two more people were murdered in the village.
