Los Angeles [US], March 25 (HBTV): Instagram has introduced a new feature that allows users to reorder photos and videos in a carousel post even after it has been published.

The update addresses a long-standing limitation that prevented users from rearranging content once uploaded, offering greater flexibility in how posts are presented.

The new feature allows users to reorder images or videos in a carousel by long-pressing and dragging them to the desired position.

According to 9to5mac, users can access the feature by opening a carousel post, tapping the three-dot menu in the top right corner, selecting 'Edit', and then dragging the media left or right to reorder it.

The feature may not yet be available to all users but is expected to roll out more widely in the near future.

However, the update is limited to reordering existing media. Users still cannot add new photos or videos to a carousel after it has been published.

In August 2024, the platform expanded the carousel limit to 20 images or videos, allowing for more detailed and flexible storytelling. (ANI)
