Jerusalem [Israel], November 22 (HBTV): Israel has eliminated Khaled Abu-Daka, the commander of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror group's rocket unit, according to a joint statement from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Israel Security Forces (Shin Bet).
The statement confirmed that Abu-Daka was targeted on November 21 while operating in the Deir al-Balah humanitarian zone in central Gaza. He had been overseeing rocket fire toward southern border communities since October 7.
In preparation for the strike, extensive measures were taken to minimize civilian casualties, including the use of precise munitions, accurate intelligence, and aerial surveillance. (ANI/TPS)
