New Delhi [India], June 10 (HBTV): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday extended greetings on social media as Prime Minister Narendra Modi became India’s longest continuously serving elected prime minister.

In a post on X, CM Adityanath said, ‘Hearty congratulations to the successful Prime Minister, the charioteer of ‘Amrit Kaal’, respected Narendra Modi ji on becoming the longest-serving elected Prime Minister of the country!’

PM Modi completed 4,399 consecutive days in office, surpassing the previous record of 4,398 days held by India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru.

He further wrote, ‘You are a ‘mass leader’ dedicated to the service, security and prosperity of the nation. Your leadership is a symbol of the consciousness of an era. This is a celebration of the austerity, sacrifice and foresight of the Prime Minister, which is connecting the nation to the resolution of ‘Developed India’.’

The milestone coincides with the 12th anniversary of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government. A high-level conclave has been convened at 3:00 PM at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, chaired by PM Modi and attended by Chief Ministers, Deputy Chief Ministers and senior leaders from all 22 NDA-ruled states and Union Territories. Key Union ministers, including Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah, are expected to participate.

According to government sources, the conclave will focus on reviewing progress under the ‘Viksit Bharat’ roadmap for 2047, with emphasis on infrastructure development and welfare delivery. It is also expected to include discussions on the security situation in West Asia and its geopolitical implications for India.

The event has drawn congratulatory messages from leaders and various sectors, marking the occasion as a significant political milestone for the government.
