Sawai (Rajasthan) [India], May 14 (HBTV): A tigress and her cubs strayed out of Ranthambore National Park and into the agricultural fields of Kutalpura Maliyan village, triggering panic among local residents. Another tiger was also spotted near the Sawai Palace hotel, raising further alarm.

The forest department has launched a monitoring and tranquilization operation to ensure public safety. A team of experts is actively tracking the movements of the tigers with the objective of safely returning them to the forest.

The sightings have caused anxiety among villagers, who now fear for their safety. The presence of the big cats near human settlements has heightened concerns about potential conflict, both for humans and wildlife. The forest department has assured that necessary precautions are being taken to prevent any untoward incidents and to facilitate the safe relocation of the animals.

The incident underscores the persistent challenge of human-wildlife conflict in areas adjacent to wildlife sanctuaries and national parks. Ranthambore National Park, renowned for its rich biodiversity, is home to a significant population of tigers. However, increasing cases of tigers venturing into human-inhabited zones have raised alarms over the safety and well-being of both people and animals.
