‘Won't spare land mafia,’ says Assam chief minister as he assures distressed woman

Guwahati (Assam) [India], March 2 (HBTV): In response to a local woman who came pleading before Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma claiming her property had been illegally taken, he assured the lady that stringent action would be taken against the culprits. He assured and that the land mafia in the state would not be spared. 



Sarma offered consolation to the distressed woman.     



"We will not spare the land mafia," said the Assam chief minister during his interaction with the woman.



Chief Minister Sarma took to his social media handle on X and posted a video wherein he is seen consoling the woman. 



The video begins with the woman frantically requesting the chief minister to listen to her plea, to which the chief minister says, "I will not go. You are standing right in front of me. Stop crying first. I will wait for two minutes."



Sarma, then asked the woman about the matter, and the woman said, "Someone has occupied my house."  



The chief minister took the piece of paper the woman was carrying, handed it over to a superintendent of police, and asked the woman to visit the official's office.
