Hyderabad, Telangana, March 15 (HBTV): Excise Enforcement officials have seized a large quantity of ganja-infused sweets from a seller in Dhoolpet area of Telangana's Hyderabad.



According to an excise official, a raid was conducted in the Dhoolpet area yesterday based on credible information that some individuals were selling ‘kulfi’, chocolates, and sweets laced with ganja on the occasion of Holi.  



The officials arrested the seller, identified as Satyanarayana Singh, and seized 100 ganja-infused kulfi ice creams and 71 sweets. A case has been registered against him. Authorities have vowed stringent action against those attempting to exploit traditional celebrations for illegal activities.



Law enforcement agencies have urged the public to remain alert and report any suspicious activities involving drug distribution. Further investigations are underway to identify potential links in the supply chain and prevent similar incidents in the future.
