Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], June 24 (HBTV): The second edition of Chintan Shivir concluded at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur, where Chhattisgarh cabinet ministers, led by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, engaged in extensive discussions on fiscal, educational, and health sector reforms.
Chhattisgarh Minister OP Choudhary stated that the entire cabinet participated in Chintan 2.0 with a learner’s mindset under the leadership of the Chief Minister. He highlighted that the retreat was a valuable opportunity to examine strategies to accelerate development through good governance.
‘Chintan 2.0 was organised under the leadership of our CM Vishnu Deo Sai. We are seeing the world transforming at a fast pace. The whole cabinet participated as students. Be it reforms in the fiscal sector, education sector, health sector, or achieving the Viksit Bharat aim through good governance—these topics were discussed in detail,’ Choudhary said.
Minister Kedar Kashyap added that the second edition of Chintan Shivir was crucial for improving governance and administrative efficiency.
‘This is the second edition and second year of Chintan Shivir. This Shivir is very important for improving the functioning of our government and administration. It helps bring governance to the grassroots. We are confident this training will support both personal growth and administrative work,’ Kashyap stated.
The two-day residential programme brought together the Chief Minister and cabinet colleagues for intensive reflection, policy dialogue, and strategic planning aimed at advancing inclusive and sustainable development in Chhattisgarh.
According to an official release, participants engaged in collaborative discussions on governance challenges, reform priorities, and long-term development roadmaps.
In his address, CM Vishnu Deo Sai remarked, ‘Chintan Shivir 2.0, conducted through the collaboration of IIM Raipur and the Chhattisgarh Department of Good Governance, was a successful initiative. Cabinet members were introduced to important topics that will help run the government more efficiently. The topics and speakers were excellent, and their insights will support us in achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047.'
The programme featured sessions themed around Seva, Sankalp, aur Seekh (Service, Resolve, and Learning), and concluded with the inauguration of the Sushasan Vatika (Good Governance Garden) through a symbolic tree-planting ceremony.
