Chandigarh (Haryana) [India], August 20 (HBTV): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has assured full government support to investors from the state seeking to expand their businesses in Tanzania, reaffirming his government’s “Go Global” vision for international growth.

Speaking at a debriefing session with members of the state delegation that recently participated in the 49th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair, CM Saini underlined that the Haryana Government has set up a dedicated Foreign Cooperation Department to strengthen global ties and assist businesses in exploring overseas opportunities.

The CM encouraged industrialists to pursue ventures in Tanzania, pledging departmental assistance in sectors of their choice. The high-level delegation comprised officials, exporters, traders, and representatives from multiple industries.

During the visit, discussions with Tanzanian officials and business leaders identified collaboration potential in import-export, agricultural machinery, IT skilling, mining, healthcare, and plywood manufacturing. Haryana also showcased its investor-friendly policies through a state pavilion at the trade fair.

Two key MoUs were signed: one between LUVAS (Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences) and Tanzania’s Sokoine University of Agriculture, and another between HARTRON and Zanzibar’s Ministry of Information, Youth, Culture, and Sports.

Notably, Haryana investors also established two new companies in Tanzania—Green Impex Limited in plywood and Jai Dada Dohla Group Company Limited in mining. The delegation conducted 13 business meetings and four field visits, paving the way for long-term cooperation.

Participants praised the Haryana government’s proactive backing and submitted proposals for future investments in agriculture, packaging, education, home appliances, and plywood manufacturing.
