Free medical camp held in Mandla, M.P. in presence of chief ministers Mohan Yadav and Vishnu Deo Sai

RK HIV AIDS Research and Care Center and Doctor 365 jointly organised the world’s largest medical camp along with Aadi Utsav in Ramnagar, located in the tribal district of Mandla, Madhya Pradesh.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], May 28 (HBTV): RK HIV AIDS Research and Care Center and Doctor 365 jointly organised the world’s largest medical camp along with Aadi Utsav in Ramnagar, located in the tribal district of Mandla, Madhya Pradesh, on May 4 and 5, 2025. Over 1.7 lakh people availed free medical services at the camp, including health check-ups, eye examinations, distribution of medicines, and free spectacles.

Thousands of wheelchairs were also distributed by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai during the event.

The health camp was conducted under the patronage of Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram, Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Minister Sampatiya Uikey, and Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on the Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, Faggan Singh Kulaste.

On May 5, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Union Minister Jual Oram, Minister of State Renuka Chaudhary, and other dignitaries attended the event. The mega camp was held with the objective of improving the health of Mandla and nearby regions.

More than 1,200 doctors contributed to the effort. Over 600 tuberculosis patients received six-month nutrition kits in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s national mission to eradicate TB. The organisers noted that the camp has been running successfully for the past seven years.

The team from RK HIV AIDS Research and Care Center and Doctor 365, led by Dr. Dharmendra Kumar, brought doctors from across India. Attendees received comprehensive health check-ups and prescribed medicines. People from Mandla and nearby districts like Dindori and Jabalpur benefitted from the initiative.

There was also discussion about introducing free health education in Mandla. Dr. Dharmendra Kumar stated that plans are underway to implement this initiative.

The chief guests and dignitaries included Dr. Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh; Vishnu Deo Sai, Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh; Jual Oram, Union Tribal Affairs Minister; Durga Das Uikey, State Minister for Tribal Affairs; Savitri Devi, State Minister for Women and Child Development; Sampatiya Uikey, Madhya Pradesh Public Health Education Minister; Hemadri Singh, MP from Anuppur; among others. Dr. Dharmendra Kumar extended his gratitude to all guests.

The Maha Arogya Camp was held at Rani Durgavati Maidan, Ramnagar, Mandla. It included distribution of nutrition kits for TB patients, sputum collection, preventive care, treatment, general health and eye check-ups, ECG, blood sugar and blood group tests, as well as HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, and anaemia screenings. Specialists conducted ENT, gynecology, mental health, dermatology, orthopaedic, and paediatric evaluations. Services in Ayurveda, homeopathy, and naturopathy were also provided.

The camp also distributed 50,000 pairs of spectacles and 1,000 wheelchairs.

Anu Singh and project head Yogita Borkar played key roles in executing the camp. Over 1,200 doctors and paramedical staff participated.

RK HIV AIDS Research and Care Center holds records in the Guinness Book of World Records and Asia Book of Records for conducting the highest number of medical camps. To date, it has benefitted crores of people across states like Gujarat, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Bihar.
