Chandigarh (Haryana) [India], August 12 (HBTV): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini distributed appointment letters to newly selected Group D employees at a ceremony held in the state capital.
In a post on X, Saini extended his best wishes to the new appointees during an introductory programme held in Panchkula at the site of Mansa Devi.
‘Best wishes to the newly selected employees of Group D for their appointment letters and new responsibilities. This introductory programme, organised on the sacred land of Panchkula at the feet of Mother Mansa Devi, marks the day of a new beginning for the new employees. Today’s youth is full of new ideas and energy. My appeal is that you adopt new technologies and work with honesty and transparency at the grassroots level because every small step you take, every honest effort, can bring about a significant change. If Haryana is reaching new heights in every field today, this success is not only due to policymakers but also to the youth. Make public service the goal of your life. I hope that all of you will live up to the expectations of the state’s citizens,’ he wrote.
On Thursday, the Chief Minister unveiled the new official website of the Revenue & Disaster Management Department, stating that the move will ensure transparency in the department and eliminate the scope of leakages.
He said the new website will bring the Revenue Department closer to the people by consolidating all revenue services onto a single platform, eliminating the need for repeated visits to revenue offices.
The website features Single Sign-On (SSO) for accessing multiple applications and websites with one set of login credentials, online slot booking, real-time digital display systems, dedicated help desks, and information in local languages.
A key highlight is the facility for citizens to submit registration applications from their homes, requiring only a single biometric presence for finalisation, thereby speeding up and simplifying the process. With the launch of this website, all 26 services will be available under one roof.
The Chief Minister said the state government will modernise all registration offices across Haryana by restructuring them on the model of Passport Seva Kendras. He added that revenue records are now fully GIS-based, enabling real-time monitoring of land status.
