Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], June 29 (HBTV): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday addressed a state-level workshop in Lucknow, commemorating 11 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government.
He highlighted India's growing global stature under Modi’s leadership and underscored the importance of planning programmes at all levels to build upon the achievements of the past 11 years.
‘It is our good fortune that under the leadership of PM Modi, India has attained a significant global standing,’ CM Adityanath said.
He added that various programmes will be held to reflect the government's accomplishments over the years. ‘As we enter the era of Viksit Bharat, we mark 11 years of service, good governance, and welfare for the poor. Based on the achievements of these 11 years, we will plan programmes at the state, district, board, and power centre levels,’ he stated.
Adityanath stressed the need for inclusive development, ensuring that the common man is not sidelined in government initiatives. He noted that the BJP’s suggestions cover various sectors and aim to promote the participation of all sections of society.
‘It often happens that in most programmes, only the involvement of party workers is ensured, and somewhere, the common man gets sidelined... I believe this initiative is a great opportunity for all... All the suggestions of the BJP naturally ensure the participation of everyone, from medicine to education, every section is included,’ he said.
Earlier on Monday, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami virtually participated in the programme 11 Years of Modi Government: From Sankalp to Siddhi from the Chief Minister's residence.
Addressing the programme, Dhami said, ‘On June 9, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we are going to complete 11 golden years of service, good governance and poor welfare. This transformative period of 11 years has been a historic period of renaissance of India's self-respect and spirit of nationalism, in which our country established itself as a strong, capable and competent nation on the global stage.’
‘This journey, which started in 2014 under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was a journey to transform the aspirations of the Indian people into reality. In this journey, the Prime Minister paved the way for the new construction of the nation by imbibing the spirit of nation first with the basic mantra of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas".’
Dhami added that the Prime Minister has introduced a new work culture in governance and achieved tangible development through decisive policymaking. ‘It is the result of the far-sighted thinking and strong leadership of the Prime Minister that today India is making its strong presence felt on international forums like G-20, QUAD and BRICS,’ he said.
