Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], May 27 (HBTV): A man has been arrested in Lucknow for allegedly posting objectionable content on social media, including digitally tampered photographs of senior national leaders such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, police said on Monday.
The accused has been identified as Irfan Ali, a resident of Paharpur village under Bakshi Ka Talab tehsil in Lucknow.
According to officials at Mahigava police station, Ali shared digitally altered images of the leaders accompanied by derogatory remarks, which quickly went viral on social media platforms.
