Kaithal (Haryana) [India], July 24 (HBTV): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini emphasised the importance of a healthy youth population in building a strong and prosperous nation, linking it to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047. His remarks came during the Kaithal Half Marathon, which witnessed participation from thousands of people.
After flagging off the marathon, the Chief Minister said, ‘Today, a half marathon was organised in Kaithal. Thousands of people from Kaithal participated in this event. I extend my congratulations and best wishes to all. May our youth be healthy so that society and the nation remain healthy. When the nation is healthy, Prime Minister Modi’s dream will be fulfilled. By 2047, India will become Viksit Bharat. We want to associate youth with this initiative to ensure no one takes up drug abuse.’
Later, in a message on X, CM Saini expressed gratitude to all participants, organisers, and supporters for making the Kaithal Half Marathon a success.
‘It is a matter of great joy for me that Haryana stands united today against drugs. To make Haryana drug-free, awareness programmes like marathons, cyclothons, and Ragini are being organised continuously in every corner of the state.’
‘When drugs are eradicated, the youth will be healthy; when the youth are healthy, the nation will be strong. Only then will the dream of a “Developed Haryana” come true, along with the resolve of our esteemed Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji for a Developed India,’ he stated in a post.
Earlier, on Saturday, CM Saini attended the Jan Pratinidhi Sammelan and Jan Samvad programme in Kaithal, where he heard public grievances.
According to an official release, the Chief Minister said that members of the Nagar Parishad, Block Samiti, and Zila Parishad are directly connected with the people, and citizens have high expectations from them. He urged public representatives to resolve people’s issues on a priority basis and to ensure quality in the development works being carried out in their areas.
