Agartala, Tripura, March 19 (HBTV): As soon as the list of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates for the Lok Sabha elections was released, the BJP’s nominated candidate for the West Tripura Lok Sabha seat Biplab Kumar Deb has jumped into action.          

The former chief minister has been holding organizational meetings on the functioning of the party’s units in the Lok Sabha constituency. Similarly, a meeting was conducted on Tuesday with unit presidents and office bearers of Sadar city and rural districts.                  

State BJP vice-president Tapash Bhattacharya, state Vice-president Papia Dutta, state general secretary and MLA Bhagwan Chandra Das, among others, attended the meeting.        

Speaking to the media later, Dev said technical sessions on various issues related to the work of the BLA-1 and BLA-2 within the district were conducted.                    

Officials have been informed about door-to-door campaigning to ensure re-nomination of Narendra Modi as the prime minister of the country in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.
