Guwahati, Assam, March 16 (HBTV): In a shocking incident in Nalbari district of Assam on Saturday, a woman and her minor daughter died after they, including two minor sons, took the extreme step to commit suicide by stepping in front of a speeding train. The two sons, both minors, had a providential escape.
According to sources, the victim's family committed suicide at Bausipara railway line in Nalbari. Four members of the same family had come to commit suicide. The two sons barely survived. The victim was identified as one Juri Das, 28; and daugther Meghali of Nalbari.
The woman was identified as wife of one Nripen Das of Charia village of Nalbari.
