London [UK], March 6 (HBTV): United Kingdom's Foreign Secretary David Lammy has gifted External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar a Tottenham Hotspur No. 1 jersey with his name printed on it.
Foreign Secretary Lammy, who is a Member of Parliament from north London's Tottenham—home to the Premier League club—presented the jersey during Jaishankar’s visit to the UK.
In a video posted on Instagram, which captured Jaishankar’s visit to Chevening House, Lammy said, ‘It is a great privilege to have you here as my first guest. 2025 is going to be a special year for moving the UK-India relationship into a new era.’
Lammy personally received Jaishankar at Chevening House and presented him with the Tottenham Hotspur jersey featuring ‘Jaishankar’ on the back.
